It pulls to the left (maybe because my moms large purse ;) . Suspension is much too harsh. You feel every bump, yet the steering is very vague. And asking it to turn corners quickly is like asking an cruise ship to turn on a dime.

At least you didn't have a flat wheel! How were its drifting capabilities?

You can turn corners quickly in these, typically, if you make use of the tendency toward liftoff oversteer and just make sure to manage your weight distribution. Plenty of these out there have acceptable camber, though - did you test drive before you made your pick? Wheel bearing maintenance - also an overlooked issue too often. The older models, like you have there, use fewer modern materials and are consequently a bit pokey and nose-heavy - but that's no reason not to have fun with them, particularly not with hard tires. The Ikea models tend to have a little less rear grip surface, so they'll get into a skid more easily. Try it out!

Put the heavier items towards the front. this will allow you to get less traction and be able to drift and powerslide it.

This thing couldn't drift. The bum left wheel was in the way.

The ikea flat carts are tough to maneuver with the rear wheel steering.

I should've checked the kartfax. It might've been in a collision I don't know about. I get carried away with the ikea models. They scare me because their odd handling. But if I got used to I could surely DD it.

Like with any large vehicle, it pays to spend some time driving it - even if you don't plan to get a Class A grocery certification.

Not enough speed in the corners and poor weight distribution. How much boost was it making?

None. Something was wrong, the check engine light was on.

They're hell to steer, but a blast to drift. My kids love going to Ikea because we raise hell in the warehouse.

I used to put the kids in there and push the cart backwards. It's drift heaven with the rear wheel steering.
